It's Christmas in July on Lake Barkley!
On Saturday, July 16th beginning at 8 a.m. boaters will travel on Lake Barkley to the participating Marinas, Campgrounds and Business Bonus Stops to collect a minimum of 5 ornament stamps on their tree. If participants make a purchase at the stops, they are invited to take a picture of their receipt and email into lbcmarinacrawl@gmail.com, where each receipt gets you one entry into Santa’s Sensational Prize Sack. The more receipts you email in throughout the day, the greater chance for prize winnings. Once the passport has the minimum required stamps, participants simply take a photo of their passport and either email into lbcmarinacrawl@gmail.com or return it to Holiday Hills Resort Dock for cash drawings of $500 at 3, 4 and 5 p.m., winners will be announced on the radio at WPKY, Edge Media Group, the Herald Ledger and notified by phone.
Boaters may participate in the marina crawl by registering their boats beginning May 23, 2022 with a $25 registration fee with the Lake Barkley Chamber of Commerce at Lake Barkley Christmas in July Marina Crawl (google.com)
*Want to do the Marina Crawl by land, no problem. Simply register and visit the marinas and businesses by land. Enter your passport and receipts following the same instructions.
Participating Marinas/Resorts & Businesses: Buzzard Rock Marina Resort, Eddy Creek Marina Resort, Holiday Hills Resort, Payroll Vault, Kuttawa Harbor Marina, Green Turtle Bay Resort and Prizer Point Marina.
Boaters are also encouraged to decorate their boat during the event. Snap a picture and text name and photo to the chamber dedicated number of 270-388-4769 for a chance to win “Santa’s Sleigh Award.”
